Lacey Nelson was born and raised in Saskatchewan, Canada. She spent most of her childhood between school and the dance studio where she danced competitively in most styles including ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, hip-hop, and contemporary. She graduated high school from an all girls private school and then went on to study Marketing at the Edwards School of Business in the University of Saskatchewan.

In late 2008 she was invited to attend the highly regarded model and talent convention, Faces West, in Vancouver. She met agencies from around the world, including Elite Toronto who signed her immediately following the convention. Upon signing she moved to Toronto to begin her career. There she found success in both the fashion as well as the entertainment industry where she played a lead role in a few television commercials and hair shows for clients such as Dentyne Gum, Kohl’s, and TiGi Hair Care.

She has now been modeling for slightly over 5 years and has such dedication to her ever-growing career. She has worked in several different markets including Hong Kong, Miami, and Milan. Currently she lives in New York where she is represented by One.1 Model Management and Innovative Artists. Clients she works with include Macy’s, Kohl’s, Saks Fifth Ave, Vineyard Vines, JC Penney, Seventeen Magazine, L.E.I. Lingerie, Stage Stores, and a few German and Italian sportswear companies. She has also done her fair share of runway shows for designers such as Bottega Veneta, Gucci, Robert Rodriguez, and recently walked in multiple swimwear shows in Miami, a few being Beach Bunny Swimwear, Luli Fama, Indah, and San Lorenzo Bikinis.
